Hiking the Inca Trail was high on the "must-do" list for a long time, and the experience proved to be worth the wait. The natural scenery of the Andean mountains and the impressive archeological sites built by the Inca and pre-Inca civilizations made much of the Inca Trail a visual feast. Even the journey through the Sacred Valley impressed us with its scenery and splendor.
