We met another group of Intrepid travellers, this time going from Thailand through Laos to Vietnam. Once again, Intrepid pulls through, providing us with another great tour leader, Lisa Patterson, from Melbourne. In our group were David and Glennis from Brisbane, Tessa from Darwin, Jacqueline from Sydney, Barbara and Jenny from New Zealand, Holly from England, and three Japan Exchange & Teaching teachers: Lindsay and Natalie from Ontario and Angie from Auckland. For 48 hours near the end of the two week trip, practically everyone (except for Jen, Winston and Jenny) shared a mysterious viral illness that wreaked havoc on people's digestive systems; we think this served to help us all bond even that much more!
